Testimonials

Our book cover program was a huge success. We had a 9% coupon redemption rate, letters from both kids and schools and an increase in hits to our web site. We plan to sponsor book covers again this year and increase our coverage and participation.

Thank you for the wonderful job on the book covers we donated to John B Hood Middle School for our Unlimited Horizons program. The kids loved them, because I saw them on book everywhere. Jason Garrett, the Dallas Cowboy quarterback, was equally impressed with the quality of the book covers and how effective they are as a communications tool.

As a sports team, one of our main initiatives is grass roots marketing. We have been involved with the book cover program for the past three years, and feel this is a very effective way to penetrate the youths in the community to create further brand awareness and stimulate ticket sales. Walraven offers a turnkey program that effectively allows us to market to the specific communities we wish to target.

Book covers are the most efficient way to communicate with the important school audience. Our message was seen daily, in a credible context. We wanted to both reach schools with our message, and send the word that we supported our schools and teachers. Book covers were the perfect combination of message and medium!

Liz Bleiberg
(formerly of The Science Place, Dallas) Executive Director, The Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary (February 2002)

Our agency has been a loyal customer of The Walraven Company for over nine years. We can always count on receiving a quality product and wonderful customer service! One of the things we really like is that The Walraven Company takes care of distributing the book covers to the 14 county region that we serve. Our distribution numbers show us that we are getting a lot of bang for our buck.

Electricity is publicly viewed as one of the safest energy resources available. It is important that everyone understands that if improperly used, electricity can be deadly. That's why Tri-County Electric Cooperative, in cooperation with area schools, provides book covers that help protect and extend the useful life of textbooks. A book cover can also convey a message and we selected an electric safety theme. In addition to book covers the Cooperative also makes available classroom programs on electrical safety. Every year we get hundreds of thank you letters from kids in area schools who use the book covers to protect their books.

"The staff at Walraven's is wonderful, and they are so creative! I was able to give them just a glimmering of an idea for a bookcover theme to promote my public education message to prevent water pollution, and they came back with a beautiful, colorful design. With only a tweak here and there to customize it to my city, I had a professional-looking bookcover for use in my school district. It successfully competed against the sports figure and TV star-themed covers as the bookcover design of choice of many of our students. My own children even picked it!"

"Our book cover has helped get our name out to children and parents, and we love the thank you notes we receive from teachers and students! Children's health insurance is not an easy concept to market, and having our logo in the hands of possible consumers makes product branding easier."

"After many years, the Walraven book cover program has been a huge success
for the Fort Worth Zoo. It is one of the key marketing tools that we use
each and every year. From advertising the opening of new exhibits to
highlighting our over 5,000 animals, it’s one of the best opportunities to
get our local students "WILD" about the Fort Worth Zoo."
